Pay It Forward Prototype Program

WHAT IS PIFPP?

As part of KAD’s larger mission to do good things in the world, we are excited to announce our Pay It Forward Prototype Program (PIFPP).  Our ultimate program goal is to empower and assist qualifying organizations and individuals to carry out ideas that will make a positive impact on underserved, vulnerable, and special needs populations.

Once a project is approved, KAD will work with the client to produce their prototype at material cost or deeply discounted.  KAD is accepting applications for projects meeting the eligibility criteria below.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Qualifying Populations:

The prototype must clearly benefit an underserved, vulnerable, or special needs population, including animal welfare (eg: prototype for clean water systems in a vulnerable population, medical equipment prototype for an organization that will benefit an underserved population, wheelchair for injured dogs).  We will also consider applications supporting other good causes such as environmental sustainability.

Financial Need:

The project would otherwise be unlikely to be developed without the PIFPP.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Meet eligibility criteria
  • Commitment to purchasing cost of materials
  • Prototype design
  • Explanation of how your prototype will assist a qualifying population

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Applications are currently accepted on a rolling basis.

Please note, we have the capacity to accept no more than one project at a time.

SUBMIT AN APPLICATION

We would love to help you with your project.

If we believe in your idea, but can not take on the project at the moment, we will communicate when our capacity allows us to work with you.
